Traineeship


The EDPS launched a traineeship programme in 2005. The main objective is to offer recent university graduates the opportunity to put into practice the knowledge acquired during their studies, particularly in their specific areas of competence. The trainees thereby acquire practical experience of the day-to-day activities of the EDPS and can specialise in data protection.
 
In addition to the main traineeship programme, special provisions have been established to accept, under specific and limited admission criteria, university students and PhD students for short-term, non-remunerated traineeships.
 
The main programme hosts on average two trainees per five-month session, twice a year, starting in October and in March.
