The EDPS regularly expresses his views in different types of publications.

Issues that relate to the work of the EDPS more specifically, such as his advisory role on proposals for new legislation or the role of the Data Protection Officers (DPO) have been addressed in papers . This has also been the case for the relationship between access to public documents and the protection of personal data.

With the annual reports , the EDPS takes stock and looks back on the main achievements of the previous year. The reports cover the three main areas of work of the EDPS (supervision, consultation and cooperation) as well as developments in communication, administration, budget and human resources.

The EDPS and the Assistant Supervisor participate in a wide range of conferences and working meetings. When their contributions are prepared in writing, their speeches are made available on-line. Articles and forewords published elsewhere are also made available on the website.

Information brochures have also been developed to inform about the duties of the EDPS and the rights of the individuals.
