Peter is the Secretary to the Committee of the Council of Europe Privacy and Data Protection Convention, known as Convention 108 and currently working – among others – on preparing the entry into force and the implementation of the modernised Convention 108+. Previously in charge with law enforcement and national security related privacy matters, with internet governance issues and with standard setting activities based on this Convention. Prior to that he was involved in topics like the EU Data Protection Directive, the GDPR, EU Law Enforcement Directive, EUROPOL regulation, EU PNR Agreements with third states, Terrorist Financing Tracking Programme, and the EU-US Privacy Shield agreement. He has also been active since 2020 in technical assistance programmes on cybersecurity, cybercrime and data protection in Africa, Asia and Latin-America

Agustín Reyna is the Director General of BEUC, The European Consumer Organisation, which serves as the umbrella group for 45 independent consumer organisations across 32 European countries. BEUC's primary mission is to act as a strong consumer voice in Brussels and to ensure that consumer interests are given their proper weight in all EU policies. Agustín joined BEUC in 2010 and has since held various positions, including Director of the Legal and Economic Department. Since 2018, he has served as a non-governmental advisor for the European Commission to the International Competition Network and represents BEUC in numerous European and international forums. Additionally, he is a member of ESMA’s Securities and Markets Stakeholder Group. Agustín holds a law degree from the National University of Córdoba in Argentina, an advanced master’s degree in ICT Law from the University of Namur in Belgium, and a PhD in Law from the University of Bremen in Germany.

Cristiana Santos is an Assistant Professor in Data Protection Law at Utrecht University. She holds a joint international Doctoral Degree in Law, Science and Technology (University of Bologna) and a Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science (University of Luxembourg). She was recently awarded a Dutch VIDI project to research controllership and power in data protection. Cristiana is an expert of the Data Protection Unit, Council of Europe; expert of the Digital Persuasion or Manipulation Expert Group and holds a Inria International Chair. She provides expertise and consultation to the EU Commission, OECD, Global Privacy Enforcement Network (GPEN), other policymakers, and civil society organisations.

Wojciech Wiewiórowski has been the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) since December 2019. He is also an adjunct professor in the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk. Wojciech Wiewiórowski was also the Inspector General for the Protection of Personal Data (Polish Data Protection Commissioner) between 2010-2014 and the Vice Chair of the Working Party Article 29 in 2014. In December 2014, he was appointed Assistant European Data Protection Supervisor. After the passing of the Supervisor - Giovanni Buttarelli - in August 2019, he replaced Mr. Buttarelli as acting EDPS.
