EDSB Aktivitäten und Aktionsplan im Kampf gegen die Pandemie

"Der Ausbruch von Covid-19 beeinflusst unser Leben in einem beispiellosen Tempo. Er testet die Widerstandsfähigkeit unserer Gesellschaften, wenn wir auf diese globale Krise reagieren und versuchen, ihre Folgen sowohl kurz- als auch langfristig einzudämmen.“

Der Ausbruch von Covid-19 testet auch die Grundrechte auf Datenschutz und Privatsphäre. EU-Mitgliedstaaten, EU-Institutionen und Big Tech-Unternehmen versuchen, Lösungen zur Bekämpfung der unkontrollierten Ausbreitung des Virus zu finden.

Infolgedessen haben wir eine Covid-19-Task Force eingerichtet, um die Entwicklungen zu verfolgen und uns auf die Zukunft des Datenschutzes und der Privatsphäre nach der Covid-19-Krise vorzubereiten.

EDPS response to COVID-19 outbreak

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the EDPS has decided to activate its Business Continuity Plan. All EDPS staff will be teleworking from 13 March to 29 May 2020.
