On 3 June 2025, the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS), the German Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI), and the Bavarian Data Protection Commissioner (BayLfD), organised a high-level debate to reflect on recent developments relating to the EU's Digital Rulebook. The debate focused on the need for a consistent and coherent implementation of the GDPR and the EU's Digital Rulebook and cooperation between the different competent digital regulators to ensure the effective protection of citizens, foster innovation, and support the Union's competitiveness.
