In this episode of Talks, we welcome Madam President of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar. Before becoming the first female President of Slovenia, she had already carved out a multi-faceted career with too many remarkable accomplishments to name. From being a media professional for more than 14 years. to Vice-President and President of the Joint Supervisory Body of the EU's law enforcement agency, Europol, to ensure that people's rights are not violated when their personal data is processed by Europol.

Dedicating most of her career to protecting human rights, especially privacy, she has developed over the years an extensive expertise in data protection law, marked by several significant achievements, including her impactful role as Information Commissioned of Data Protection Authority of Slovenia for over 10 years, during which she earned the nickname of 'cookie monster' at the time of introducing the 'Cookie Directive in Slovenia'.
