EDPS Formal comments on  the draft Commission Implementing Decisions amending Decisions C(2021) 5052 and C(2021) 5053 laying down technical details for European search portal user profiles, pursuant to Article 8(2) of Regulation (EU) 2019/817 and Article 8(2) of Regulation (EU) 2019/818.

Am 3. Juni 2025 veranstalten der Europäische Datenschutzbeauftragte (EDSB), die Bundesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit (BfDI) und der Bayerische Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz (BayLfD) eine hochrangige Debatte über die jüngsten Entwicklungen im Zusammenhang mit dem EU-Digitalregelwerk. Im Mittelpunkt der Veranstaltung stehen die Notwendigkeit einer einheitlichen und kohärenten Umsetzung der DSGVO und des EU-Digitalregelwerks sowie die Zusammenarbeit der verschiedenen digitalen Regulierungsbehörden zum Schutz der Bürger, zur Förderung von Innovationen und zur Stärkung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der Union. Gastgeber der Veranstaltung ist die Vertretung des Freistaats Bayern bei der Europäischen Union

EDPS Formal comments on the draft Implementing Regulation laying down rules for the application of Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 as regards procedural arrangements for peer reviews of electronic identification schemes and for cooperation on the organisation of such reviews within the Cooperation Group and repealing Implementing Decision (EU) 2015/296

CPDP is an annual conference on privacy and data protection hosted in Brussels. In 2025, it will take place from 21 to 23 May.

The EDPS will organise two panels on Artificial Intelligence and Data Protection. EDPS' experts will also participate as speakers in other panels and the Supervisor will deliver the conference's closing remarks.
